Makkah: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) unveiled the telecom network performance in Makkah and the holy sites on May 27, 2026, highlighting that a total of 24.5 million voice calls were made, comprising 20.9 million local calls and 3.6 million international calls.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the mobile internet speed reached an impressive 361 Mbit/s. The daily average data consumption per capita was reported at 1,372 MB, more than double the global average consumption rate.
