Makkah: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) revealed significant telecom indicators for Makkah and the Holy Sites on May 26, 2026, with voice calls totaling 20.2 million. This figure includes 17.6 million local calls and 2.6 million international calls.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the reported mobile internet speed reached 375 Mbit/s. Additionally, the daily average of data consumption per individual was recorded at 1347 MB, which is more than twice the global average consumption rate.

The ICT sector is meeting the high consumption demand with quality standards that align with leadership aspirations.
