Makkah: Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) Governor Dr. Mohammad bin Saud Altamimi has met with several governmental entities participating in serving visitors of Makkah, as part of his inspection of communication and technology services in the region during Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Altamimi held a meeting with officials from the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and the Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP). The meeting aimed to provide the best services to Umrah performers before, during, and after their visit to Makkah and Madinah and to contribute to promoting the Kingdom’s honorable and civilized image in serving the two holy mosques.
These meetings come within the framework of CST’s efforts to enhance its role as a regulator of the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in Saudi Arabia and to achieve its objectives, particularly improving user experience through integrated technical services and monitoring services provided to pilgrims via advanced infrastructure specially developed to serve the visitors of the Grand Mosque during Hajj and Umrah seasons.
