Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Launches 2026 Blood Donation Campaign

Riyadh:His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has donated blood and initiated the annual national blood donation campaign for 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative emphasizes the Crown Prince’s dedication to humanitarian efforts and community health improvement. The campaign aims to promote a culture of giving and volunteering, encouraging community members to participate in life-saving blood donations.

The campaign highlights the significance of regular voluntary blood donation, aiming to achieve self-sufficiency in blood supplies across Saudi Arabia. It supports national goals by encouraging social responsibility and enhancing the health system's capacity to provide safe blood supplies for patients in need.

Building on the success of previous years, the campaign seeks to maintain the momentum of voluntary donations and contribute to the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030. The program has successfully increased the number of donors and improved the sustainability of the national blood supply, benefiting thousands of patients annually.
