Riyadh: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha met today at the ministry's headquarters with Canadian Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu to discuss expanding bilateral partnership horizons in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, and advanced technologies. This meeting is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to strengthen its position as a global hub for AI and the digital economy.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministers reviewed opportunities to attract Canadian investments in several promising sectors. They also explored avenues for cooperation in AI, supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and opening markets in both countries.
