Commerce Ministry Recalls over 6,500 BMW Vehicles for Cockpit Wiring Defect

Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 6,574 BMW vehicles from the 5 Series and 7 Series models, manufactured between 2023 and 2025, due to a defect in the cockpit wiring harness that may cause wiring damage, an electrical short circuit, and overheating of a sensor, increasing the risk of smoke or fire in the vehicle.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry urged owners of vehicles covered by the recall to contact the local dealer, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, at the toll-free number 8001238000, to have the defect repaired free of charge.
