Mecca: The rapid response teams of the Civil Defense continue to carry out their emergency tasks in the central areas of the Two Holy Mosques by deploying a large number of teams equipped with basic firefighting equipment to ensure safety and serve the visitors and Umrah performers in the Two Holy Mosques.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the rapid response teams primarily work to eliminate accident causes and handle incidents until firefighting teams arrive. Their key advantage is their ability to navigate through heavy traffic and crowded areas, ensuring swift intervention, especially in narrow spaces. They are equipped with firefighting tools, communication devices, and systems to relay reports to the operations center.
