Riyadh: Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj received Qatar's Director General of Civil Defense Major General Hamad Othman Al-Duhaimi and his accompanying delegation at the General Directorate of Civil Defense headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting marked the first gathering of the joint committee formed under the cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and Qatar in the area of civil defense.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by both nations to fortify their collaboration in civil defense matters, focusing on enhancing coordination and sharing expertise. The ultimate goal is to improve their preparedness and response capabilities for incidents and emergencies.
