Moscow: Director General of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj led the Ministry of Interior's delegation on a visit to the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation. The high-level visit focused on enhancing collaboration and sharing knowledge between the two nations in the field of civil defense.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the director general reviewed the Russian ministry's operations and responsibilities in managing emergencies and disasters. The agenda included an in-depth look at the work of search and rescue teams, the Civil Defense Academy, and the civil defense centers. The exchange of critical practices and expertise in civil defense was a focal point of the visit.

This visit is part of ongoing reciprocal exchanges aimed at strengthening cooperation. Both sides are keen on enhancing their capabilities by reviewing specialized experiences in civil defense, emergencies, and search and rescue operations.
