Moscow: Director General of Saudi Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj led a Ministry of Interior delegation on a visit to the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the director general reviewed the ministry's operations and responsibilities in emergencies and disaster management. He also learned about the duties of search and rescue teams, the Civil Defense Academy, and civil defense centers affiliated with the ministry, as well as key practices and expertise in civil defense.

The visit is part of reciprocal visits between the two sides, strengthening cooperation and the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and providing an opportunity to learn about specialized experiences and practices in civil defense, emergencies, and search and rescue.
