CFKC Hosts Lecture on Government-Supported Savings Products in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Communication and Financial Knowledge Center (CFKC), in collaboration with the National Debt Management Center (NDMC) and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, organized a lecture on government-supported savings products at the headquarters of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. This event is part of CFKC's ongoing efforts to enhance financial awareness and literacy, aiming to introduce individuals to available savings options.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the lecture emphasized the significance of regular saving in achieving financial stability and increasing savings over time. It covered various financial concepts, including distinguishing between saving and hoarding, understanding the effects of simple and compound returns, and recognizing the role of financial awareness in making informed savings and investment decisions.

The lecture also explored the NDMC's role in addressing Saudi Arabia's financing needs by aligning with fiscal policy objectives. It focused on diversifying funding sources and ensuring sustainable access to financial markets. Additionally, it highlighted the NDMC's efforts in developing the domestic market and fostering a savings culture, which supports the Financial Sector Development Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030.

This initiative is part of CFKC's broader mission, under the Ministry of Finance, to raise financial awareness and economic knowledge, empowering individuals to make informed and sustainable financial choices.
