Riyadh: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), honored the partners of the 'Recycle Your Device' initiative from the public and private sectors during LEAP 2026: The awarded partners were: Aramco, ROSHN Group, Eada, Ertiqa, Jahez, Zain, SMSA, the Saudi Green Initiative, Saudi Esports, SIRK, and Co Kitchens.

According to Saudi Press Agency, since its launch and until the end of 2025, the initiative has achieved significant results, collecting more than 400,000 devices with an estimated market value exceeding SAR120 million. The initiative witnessed broad participation from both public- and private-sector entities, along with contributions from over 40,000 individuals, helping expand its reach and strengthen its environmental and social impact. Through the initiative, more than 960 tons of e-devices were recycled or repaired, while over 120 educational institutions and charities benefited from the recycled devices.

Launched by CST in 2022 in collaboration with its partners, 'Recycle Your Device' is one of the Commission's key initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of e-devices, promoting sustainable practices, and raising public awareness of the importance of recycling.
