A car parked in front of a house in a residential complex exploded at dawn today, Friday, in the village of Al-Ghadir, north of Najaf Governorate. A Najaf police source said, 'The car, a BMW, exploded as a result of a (home-made bomb) being thrown at it by two people riding a motorcycle.' A security source announced the arrest of a second accused in the case of stealing compensation funds at the Diyala Governorate Office, hours after the arrest of the first accused. An Israeli enemy airstrike targeted the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Hamam last night resulting in the injury of seven citizens, with injuries ranging from moderate to light. The airstrike also completely destroyed the home of citizen Salim Al-Sablani and caused direct damage to neighboring houses. Additionally, the electricity network was affected, prompting the municipality of Kafr Hamam to work on reopening roads blocked by flying debris from the airstrike. After Friday prayers, the masses of Tulkarm Governorate mourned the body of the martyr Saed Nazmi Khader Alawiya (31 years old), who was martyred this morning after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Nour Shams camp and the Dhanaba suburb east of Tulkarm. The funeral procession started from the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, amidst loud patriotic chants and angry chants denouncing the crimes of the occupation, and they headed to his family's home in the suburb of Dhanaba to say their last farewell to him. Prayers were performed over his pure body in Al-Baraka Mosque in the city, and then he was buried in the Western Cemetery in Tulkarm.
