Riyadh: The weigh-in ceremony for the Glory in Giza boxing event concluded Friday evening at the Grand Egyptian Museum with all competitors successfully making weight ahead of tonight's highly anticipated fight night near the Pyramids of Giza.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the main event features a cross-discipline heavyweight clash between Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk and Dutch kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven. Both headliners passed their official weight limits, confirming their physical readiness for the highly anticipated matchup that blends Usyk's elite boxing record with Verhoeven's combat sports expertise.

The undercard includes highly competitive matchups, featuring Hamzah Sheeraz vs. Alem Begic for the WBO Super Middleweight title, Shakhram Giyasov vs. Jack Catterall, and Frank Sanchez vs. Richard Torrez Jr. The lineup also showcases rising talents, including Saudi boxer Sultan Almohammed, alongside Mizuki Hiruta, Mai Soliman, Daniel Lapin, Basem Mamdouh, and Omar Heikal.

The weigh-in marked the conclusion of Boxing Week, which featured press conferences and media appearances. Glory in Giza combines high-stakes sports production with the historic backdrop of the Pyramids, and the entire evening will be broadcast globally on DAZN.
