Riyadh: The General Directorate of Border Guard is showcasing its autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) at the Ministry of Interior pavilion during the World Defense Show 2026, held in Riyadh from February 8 to 12.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the AUV enhances operational efficiency in challenging maritime environments, expands the scope of security surveillance, detects hostile targets, and contributes to safeguarding the Kingdom's coastline.

The directorate's participation aims to highlight advanced security and service technologies that strengthen the ministry's integrated operational capabilities in decision-making, command and control, predictive intelligence, and security landscape management.
