Riyadh: The General Directorate of Border Guard carried out a number of environmental initiatives across various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of World Environment Day, as part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness and preserve the land and marine environment.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiatives included cleaning beaches and land areas and removing waste, with the participation of Border Guard personnel and volunteers, to help preserve natural resources, support environmental sustainability efforts, and improve quality of life.
