The directorate has emphasized the critical importance of avoiding entry into or even approaching the land border area.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate has confirmed that any violations of these regulations will result in stringent penalties as outlined in the border security law and its executive regulations. Potential consequences for violators include imprisonment for up to 30 months, a fine of up to SAR 25,000, or both.
