Board of Grievances Launches Judicial Intelligence Hackathon

Riyadh: The Judicial Intelligence Hackathon was launched today, organized by the Board of Grievances in cooperation with Elm Company, marking the first hackathon of its kind aimed at developing smart litigation services and enhancing beneficiary experience. The event brings together qualifying teams along with a group of experts and specialists in the fields of technology and law.

According to Saudi Press Agency, over the course of the two-day hackathon, participating teams are discussing innovative projects, proposed ideas, implementation mechanisms, and their impact on workflow within the administrative judiciary and the development of its procedures. The program also includes a number of speeches and meetings addressing the role and frameworks for leveraging modern technologies in judicial transactions and legislative organization, with the aim of achieving a balance between employing smart technologies to develop and improve judicial operations and ensuring compliance with procedural regulations without compromising privacy or integrity.

The hackathon attracted significant interest during its registration period, which began at the end of last December and lasted three weeks. More than 1,070 participants and 260 teams from technology and legal specialties submitted numerous innovative and developmental ideas and proposals to enhance technologies and work procedures in the administrative judiciary, contributing to greater efficiency, improved outputs, and higher beneficiary satisfaction.
