Riyadh: Riyadh will host the global cybersecurity community from December 2 to 4, 2025, for Black Hat Middle East and Africa, organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones in collaboration with Tahaluf Company, which is a joint venture between the federation, the Events Investment Fund (EIF), and Informa PLC. The event will take place at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this year’s event will revolve around the theme “Cybersecurity’s Global Stage,” offering the world’s largest event space dedicated to cybersecurity. Attendees can participate in advanced threat simulations and interactive experiences designed around realistic cybersecurity scenarios, which will allow them to test their operational readiness in a controlled environment.
The three-day event promises to empower the technology business sector through meetings aimed at building partnerships and investments. It will connect innovators with both international and local institutions, turning collaborative opportunities into practical projects that contribute to strengthening the cybersecurity economy in the Kingdom and the region.
This year’s edition features the return of several specialized events, including Black Hat Briefings, which showcase the latest security research, and Black Hat Arsenal, which presents open-source tools. Additionally, the Capture the Flag competition-the region’s largest security challenge-will host international teams competing for prizes exceeding SAR1 million. The Cyberseed competition, aimed at startups, will facilitate introductions between investors and the most promising projects in the sector.
The event will offer over 200 hours of specialized content through 18 main sessions and seven interactive sessions, featuring a distinguished lineup of international speakers, experts, and specialists in security and digital technologies.
The event is expected to attract participants and visitors from 140 countries, with over 450 international and local exhibitors showcasing the latest AI-powered threat detection solutions, incident response technologies, and digital resilience systems. There will be a particular focus on supporting local companies and developers to expand their operations within the sector.
The impact of this event extends beyond the exhibition itself, attracting technology investments, empowering startups, and enhancing the national workforce’s readiness through skills development programs and business meetings that connect investors with innovators and specialized companies.
