Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to host the World Camelids Sport (WCS) General Assembly on Friday and Saturday, December 19-20, 2025. The assembly will be chaired by Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, with participation from more than 52 presidents and representatives of continental and national federations, along with several international sports figures.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the general assembly’s activities will encompass official sessions and specialized workshops. These will cover numerous organizational and administrative topics, with reviews of performance and activity reports. Additionally, strategic directions for the upcoming phase will be explored, aiming to develop camel sports and strengthen their institutional presence on an international level.
The agenda will also feature reports from the presidents of continental federations from Asia, Africa, and Europe. Discussions will cover various agenda items, with decisions to be made on relevant matters. Furthermore, workshops on anti-doping and governance will be conducted.
These meetings will serve as a platform to discuss strategies for the global development of camel sports, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and enhance cooperation among member federations.
