Sydney, Sep 25, 2022, SPA — Australia and Singapore have kicked off military maneuvers under the theme “TRIDENT” to be continued until October 3 in Shoalwater Bay in the Australian state of Queensland, with the participation of more than 1,600 members of the Australian Defense Force and the Singapore Armed Forces.

“These maneuvers between the Australian and Singaporean armed forces help support the comprehensive strategic partnership between Australia and Singapore,” Australian Defense Minister Richard D. Marles said in a statement issued by his office.
