Audi and HBRC Sign Partnership Protocol to Boost Urban Development Cooperation.

Riyadh: Riyadh Region Mayor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Ayyaf, who is also the president of the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), and Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny oversaw the signing of a partnership protocol between the AUDI and Egypt’s Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in housing, construction, and urban planning, and to support efforts to develop infrastructure and urban development in Arab cities. The collaboration is expected to lead to enhancements in the quality of urban projects through shared knowledge and research.

The ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini, was present at the signing ceremony, highlighting the significance of the agreement in fostering bilateral relations. The agreement aims to achieve several shared objectives, including exchanging expertise a
nd research in the fields of housing and construction to improve the quality of urban projects and organizing training programs and courses for personnel working in Arab and Egyptian cities to enhance their skills and capabilities. It also aims to disseminate information and knowledge about housing, infrastructure, and urban development projects in the region.
