Riyadh: Attorney General Sheikh Saud Al-Mujib headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), hosted in Singapore over four days with the participation of senior prosecution officials.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference brings together prosecutorial authorities and international organizations from around the world to examine how crimes involving technology and artificial intelligence are exploited, and explore ways prosecutors can leverage modern technological tools in investigations and trials. Discussions also cover the best practices for international cooperation in combating transnational crimes, particularly cyber and financial crimes, while enhancing prosecutors’ expertise in forensic science, forensic accountability, and psychological profiling.
On the sidelines of the conference, Al-Mujib held a series of meetings with his counterparts from participating countries.
The Kingdom’s participation underscores its active role in boosting international cooperation in criminal justice, supporting collective efforts to safeguard regional and global security, and exchanging expertise on the latest practices and technologies in criminal investigations and the fight against organized crime.
