Attorney General and Media Minister Collaborate to Bolster Institutional Cooperation

Riyadh: Attorney General and Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council Sheikh Dr. Khalid Al-Yousef met with Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary at the Public Prosecution headquarters in Riyadh to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation and developing a strategic partnership between their respective institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on several key areas of mutual interest, including improving legal and media communication, coordinating on media-related issues to uphold rights and ensure regulatory compliance, exchanging expertise in digital transformation, and creating media content that aims to counter misinformation and increase public legal awareness.

During the discussions, Al-Dossary acknowledged the Public Prosecution's significant role in rights protection, justice promotion, and safeguarding the public interest. He highlighted the media sector's crucial role as a partner in supporting the judicial system by spotlighting its initiatives and delivering content that fosters legal awareness within society.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Yousef expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Media's commitment to advancing professional media practices and enhancing digital capabilities. He pointed out that these efforts help disseminate trustworthy legal information and encourage a culture of legal compliance.
