Attacks Reported at Two International Airports in Saudi Arabia

Najran:Saudi Arabia: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has reported that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport and Najran International Airport were targeted in attacks on the evening of Monday, October 5, 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, emergency response teams and relevant authorities acted promptly following the incidents, adhering to established protocols and emergency response plans.

The attacks led to three minor injuries and some property damage. Those injured were taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

GACA is collaborating with the appropriate authorities to evaluate the damage, ensure the facilities' safety, and implement necessary measures to secure passenger safety and maintain operational security within the Kingdom's civil aviation system.
