At the opening of FIFA World Cup, Qatar lost to Ecuador 2 Love

Doha -- Making its debut in the FIFA world cup, Qatar, the host of the 2022 version of the event, lost two love to Ecuador at the opening.

In the match held at the black-tent-like Al-Bait stadium in Doha, Valensia scored the guests two goals in the first half, the first from a penalty kick point in the 16th minute and the second in the 31st.

Accordingly, Ecuador collected its first three points, ranking top of the first group, which also gathers Holland and Senegal with Qatar remaining pointless.

The event was preceded by a 30-minute stunning opening ceremony, attended by several world leaders, senior government officials, FIFA presient, sports dignitaries and fans fully flooding the 60,000-capacity stadium.
