Riyadh: Assistant Minister of Health for Health Services Dr. Mohammed AlAbdulaali welcomed International Council of Nurses (ICN) President Jos© Luis Cobos Serrano at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday. The meeting discussed areas of cooperation and ways to enhance the role of nursing in boosting the quality of healthcare services, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at building a 'Vibrant Society' enjoying robust health.

According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the visit, the ICN president explored several pioneering national models, including a tour of the Seha Virtual Hospital, where he learned about the digital healthcare system and virtual services provided to beneficiaries. He also visited the National Health Command and Control Center, which focuses on strengthening the readiness of the health sector, enhancing early warning and response systems, and managing health crises.
