London: Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan Altouq met with UK Minister of State for Creative Industries, Arts and Tourism at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport Chris Bryant in London today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the officials reviewed existing cultural cooperation between the two sides across various fields and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral relations under the memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation signed in February 2022. The discussions also covered collaboration between cultural institutions in both countries within the framework of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council’s Economic and Social Committee.

The talks also addressed the participation of Saudi cultural bodies in a range of cultural events and festivals held in the UK this year, reflecting the depth of cultural ties between the two friendly countries.
