Jazan: The Crafts Market, organized by the Alrowad Youth Association in Jazan and the Cultural House as part of the Year of Handicrafts 2025, brought together artisans from across the region in a vibrant display of Jazan’s diverse mountainous, coastal, and rural heritage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the market served as a dynamic space to revive traditional crafts with contemporary techniques, reflecting the creative spirit of the new generation.

Craftswoman Satira Al-Harisi from the Al-Hashr Mountains offered a standout experience, presenting leather goods-including mountain accessories and ornaments-that blended art and identity, telling stories of life in the Jazan mountains.

Al-Harisi noted that the market offered artisans a unique opportunity to showcase their work, develop skills, and exchange expertise. Visitors praised the market’s unique artistic diversity, affirming that it successfully revives the rich stories of Jazan’s culture by harmonizing the past and the present.
