Aden: The Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Aden provided medical services to 430 Yemeni people during November, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the center delivered 1,369 services, with males accounting for 58% of beneficiaries and females 42%. Internally displaced persons made up 59% of recipients, while residents constituted 41%.
Services included the manufacture and fitting of prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy.
The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, through KSrelief, to strengthen the health sector in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
