Arab Talent Shines at PFL Riyadh in Thrilling Night of Competition

Riyadh: The Green Halls in Riyadh hosted an exceptional night of Professional Fighters League (PFL) competition, featuring impressive performances from Arab talent in a vibrant atmosphere.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi fighter Hattan Alsaif maintained her undefeated streak, securing her fourth consecutive victory after Lebanese opponent Nour Al Fliti withdrew due to a foot injury, solidifying Alsaif’s prominence in the tournament.

In a showcase bout, Jordanian Abdelrahman Alhyasat achieved his first tournament victory by submission against Lebanese Anthony Zeidan in the lightweight category. In the bantamweight division, Jordanian Nawras Abzakh advanced to the semi-finals with a notable win over Algerian Mokhtar Benkaci and Lebanese Marcel Adur.

Moroccan Badreddine Diani excelled in the welterweight division, defeating Egyptian Ahmad Abdel Baset to secure a semi-final spot against Iranian Amir Fazli. Additionally, Moroccan Xavier Alaoui won his first tournament match against Egyptian Ziad Ayman, setting up a semi-final clash with Egyptian Islam Youssef.

In the co-main event, Kuwaiti Mohammad Alaqraa triumphed over Palestinian Omar Hussein, showcasing his experience and advancing to the semi-finals to face Kurd Mohamed Zarey.

The night concluded with a showcase bout featuring 2024 PFL MENA Welterweight Champion Omar El Dafrawy of Egypt, who delivered an impressive performance, winning by submission against PFL Europe star Daniele Miceli.
