Arab Sailing Championship Sets Sail with Saudi Participation

Jeddah: The Arab Sailing Championship 2026 officially got underway Wednesday in the Egyptian city of Hurghada, bringing together 130 male and female sailors from 11 Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia. Competitions are set to continue until February 1.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the opening day featured races in the iQFOiL class, while competitions in other sailing classes are scheduled to take place over the coming days as part of the championship program. The championship brings together participants from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Morocco, Kuwait, Jordan, Algeria, Libya, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, alongside host nation Egypt.
