Arab Parliament Strongly Condemns Israeli Occupation Forces’ Raid on UNRWA Headquarters in Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces in raiding the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jerusalem, describing it as a blatant attack on the United Nations and its international legitimacy and a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions that reflects complete disregard for the international community and its authority.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement issued today, Al-Yamahi affirmed that these practices are part of a systematic campaign by the occupying entity to undermine UNRWA by drying up its resources and directly targeting its humanitarian mission to provide essential services to millions of Palestinian refugees. He stressed that this represents an attempt to weaken the agency’s international role, terminate its operations, and strip the Palestinian people of their fundamental rights.

The speaker of the Arab Parliament called on the international community and the United Nations to take immediate and deterrent measures against the ongoing violations by the occupying forces, warning that such actions pose a serious threat to the foundations of the international order. He held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for this escalation and its repercussions on regional stability and international security.
