Riyadh: Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Al-Yamahi strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He stressed that the recurrence of such attacks constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of both countries and a direct threat to their security and stability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Yamahi emphasized that the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Arab states are indivisible. He affirmed that any attack on an Arab state constitutes an attack on the entire Arab national security system. He also expressed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with the UAE and Jordan and its support for all measures they take to protect their security and sovereignty and the safety of their citizens and residents, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

Al-Yamahi called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to assume its legal and political responsibilities and take a firm stance against these attacks. He also called for efforts to stop the attacks and prevent their recurrence, avoid further escalation, and preserve regional and international peace and security.

He stressed the need to respect the sovereignty of states, refrain from interfering in their internal affairs, and adhere to the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
