Riyadh: Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned Iranian actions targeting civilian areas and vital facilities in the Gulf region: In a statement, he emphasized that this escalation represents a serious miscalculation that Iran must urgently reassess.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Aboul Gheit stated that Iran's actions amount to aggression against peoples by targeting civilians and essential facilities, thereby endangering the entire region with its uncalculated escalation.

The secretary-general further mentioned that he is closely observing developments in the Iranian escalation. He described these actions as a desperate strategy against nations that have remained uninvolved in the conflict, emphasizing that such a strategy will only exacerbate animosity and hostility in the region.
