Riyadh: The General Secretariat of the Arab League expressed its deep concern over the security situation and clashes in the coastal region of Syria.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a press release issued today, the Arab League condemned acts of violence against government security forces, indiscriminate killings, and any foreign interferences that seek to escalate the internal conditions, jeopardize civil peace, and exacerbate the current challenges facing Syria.

The statement emphasized that these developments require focusing on policies and measures that strengthen stability and civil peace to thwart any plans aimed at destabilizing Syria and undermining its chances of recovery.
