Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Fahmy condemned the continued attacks targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in injuries and material damage. He described the attacks as an unacceptable violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, as well as a threat to civilian lives and regional security and stability.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Fahmy affirmed his full solidarity with the Kingdom and support for the measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens. He emphasized that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Arab national security. He stressed that the continued targeting of Arab states heightens tensions, fuels escalation, and threatens regional security and stability.
The Arab League reiterated its categorical rejection of the attacks and called for their immediate cessation. It also called for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states and adherence to international law and the UN Charter to prevent the confrontation from expanding and the region from sliding further into escalation and instability.
