The Fourth Region Border Command announced the thwarting of an infiltration attempt from the Iranian side south of Basra.

A source in the command told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “Through monitoring with thermal surveillance cameras, a joint force from the Fourth Regiment and the headquarters of the Coastal Border Brigade arrested an Iraqi national who crossed from the Iranian side to the Iraqi side using an Iranian boat, between Ras Al-Bisha / 1 and the park in Al-Faw district, south of Basra.”
