According to Saudi Press Agency, the most prominent feature of this region is Jabal Hudn, or Mount Hudn, the tallest peak in Najd. Situated just north of Turubah Governorate, it reaches approximately 1,656 meters above sea level. Historically, Jabal Hudn served as an important navigational landmark, and its visibility from the west is encapsulated in the well-known Arabic saying: ‘He who sees Hudn has entered Najd.’

Aliyat Najd’s varied landscape, consisting of mountains, plateaus, and vast valleys, has become a magnet for explorers.
