Riyadh: Algerian Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Youcef Belmehdi praised Saudi Arabia’s extensive efforts to safeguard the health and safety of pilgrims worldwide, lauding the distinguished services provided by the Saudi health sector, which facilitate the performance of Hajj rituals in an atmosphere of security, safety, and reassurance. These measures reflect the continuous interest of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Belmehdi’s remarks came during his visit with an accompanying delegation to hospitalized Algerian pilgrims at King Faisal Hospital and King Abdulaziz Hospital, both members of the Makkah Health Cluster, where they were briefed on patient health statuses, treatment progress, and the comprehensive medical services available.
The Algerian delegation commended the Kingdom’s dedication to caring for pilgrims and the high-quality, integrated health and treatment services offered by the Saudi healthcare model in hospitals and health centers across Makkah and the holy sites. They expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare for pilgrims during the Hajj season, ensuring a safe health environment for them to perform their rituals with ease, peace of mind, and security.
