Riyadh: The seventh edition of AlFursan Endurance AlUla, organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation, is set to commence tomorrow. This event serves as the final major preparatory competition before the FEI Endurance World Championship scheduled for November.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two-day event will feature 300 riders representing over 70 countries, competing on purebred Arabian horses across a demanding desert course. The race route will navigate through AlUla's renowned landmarks, including Hegra and Elephant Rock, offering a unique blend of international elite competition and the region's ancient equestrian traditions.
Officials confirmed during a press conference that all technical and organizational arrangements at the AlFursan Equestrian Village have been completed. This event further strengthens AlUla's reputation as a leading global hub for long-distance endurance racing while preserving the historic connection between humans and horses.
