Tirana: Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Muslim Community of Albania Bujar Spahiu commended Saudi Arabia for its leading role in serving the Quran, preserving the Sunnah, and promoting the values of peace, moderation, and balance worldwide.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in press remarks, he noted that the National Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition for boys and girls in the Republic of Albania reflects the Kingdom's longstanding commitment to supporting Islamic values.

The mufti's comments came following the closing ceremony of the competition, which was organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance through the Religious Attach© at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Muslim Community of Albania.

The mufti expressed his gratitude to the ministry for organizing the competition, highlighting that it represents a model of fruitful cooperation between religious institutions and effectively strengthens the presence of the Quran among younger generations.
