Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani participated in a funeral council for the victims of the Hamdaniya accident in the Diocese of Mar Behnam and Sarah.

Al-Sudani said in a speech in the council: “On behalf of the government and all Iraqis, we extend our condolences and solidarity with our people in the Hamdaniya district.”

He added: "The painful Hamdaniyah fire incident affected all Iraqis."
