Al-Sudani inspects the progress of the reconstruction and rehabilitation works of Mosul International Airport in the field

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, visited today, Friday, the Mosul International Airport project, to review the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction work in it.

Al-Sudani continued, on the ground, the progress of work on the airport reconstruction project, which was vandalized by the terrorist gangs of ISIS, and identified the most important obstacles and problems facing the workers and the authorities in charge of the project.

During the visit, the Prime Minister said, "This strategic service project is of high importance, not only for Nineveh Governorate, but for all Iraqi governorates, in addition to its importance in stimulating the movement of transport, trade and investment, and its connection to other projects that the government is planning in the governorate," stressing the need to the concerned authorities are making every effort to facilitate the completion of the rehabilitation stages, and the necessity of adhering to the pre-established timings for the completion of its stages, in order to expedite the operation of the airport, and put it at the service of the rest of the other infrastructure construction activities, the citizens of the province and travelers, whether they are from inside or outside Iraq.
