Al-Sudani directs the activation of the law “the rights of the martyrs of the Speicher crime”

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed the activation of the "Rights of the Speicher Crime Martyrs" law.

During his meeting today with members of the Speicher Victims Organization in Iraq, Al-Sudani listened to the needs and requests of the victims' families.

Al-Sudani instructed, according to a statement by his media office, to provide a detailed list of the recipients of the plots of land from them, and the number of beneficiaries of the construction allowance grant, in addition to the grant for procedures for burial of martyrs.

The Prime Minister directed that the Law on the Rights of the Speicher Crime Martyrs, which was voted on by Parliament in 2019, be activated, and all its articles and legal texts implemented, in fulfillment of the sacrificed martyrs, and in fairness to their families. He also directed that a letter from the Prime Minister’s Office be submitted to all ministries, in cooperation with the organization, facilitate all administrative matters that hinder its work.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed that Speicher's crime will remain a witness to the criminality and ugliness of the terrorists, whose perpetration they transgressed all conventions, customs and moral boundaries, indicating that the blood of the martyrs was not in vain, and that their pure blood paved the way for the security and sustainable stability that Iraq enjoys today. /End
