Al-Sudani conducts a night visit to the entrance to Baghdad-Mosul, and follows up the field progress of the work there/ Expanded

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, visited, this evening, Saturday, the site of the Baghdad-Mosul Entrance Development Project, and was briefed on the work progress of its completion stages.

His media office stated in a statement that Al-Sudani followed up the work details according to the drawn schedule, stressing the importance of adhering to the timing and technical specifications of the project, in a way that reflects the civilized face of the city of Baghdad and its image to visitors, especially those entering it from its northern entrance.

Al-Sudani stressed that "this visit comes to follow up adherence to the previous directives, and the implementation of the duties of the concerned officials, with their various institutions and responsibilities."

The Prime Minister affirmed, "The government has made great efforts to remove the many complexities that obstructed this project, and caused it to turn into a lagging project, pointing to the need to remove conflicts from the course of the project, whatever its foundations and origins, and to resolve alternative routes for the movement of trucks, in order to prevent the accumulation of car queues, in a way that leads to crowding, as well as easing the burden of citizens, calling on citizens to cooperate and use the alternative methods that have been identified in order to contribute to accelerating the completion of the project.

Al-Sudani held "a meeting at the project site, which included representatives of the various concerned technical authorities, which dealt with the remaining projects of the six entrances to Baghdad, the stages of their completion, and the obstacles that impede their implementation."
