Al-shamasiyah: The Al-Shamasiyah summer festival 2026 opened its doors on Wednesday, showcasing a variety of events, programs, and activities. The festival, which will span a month, is overseen by the Municipality of Al-Shamasiyah Governorate under the umbrella of Qassim Municipality. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to boost economic and tourism activities in the area and support seasonal events. According to Saudi Press Agency, Eng. Majed Al-Harbi, Mayor of the Municipality of Al-Shamasiyah, highlighted that the festival aligns with broader objectives to enhance the quality of life and increase the tourism and entertainment appeal of the governorate. The festival aims to invigorate commercial activities, support entrepreneurs and local families, and offer a variety of entertainment options for both residents and visitors. This initiative is in line with the goals set out in Saudi Vision 2030.
