Medina: Al-Salam Gate is considered one of the main gates of the Prophet's Mosque and is the entrance usually used by visitors on their way to convey greetings to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his two Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, making it an important point in the movement of visitors inside the mosque.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the gate is located on the southern side of the Prophet's Mosque and provides direct access to the courtyard surrounding the mosque and its adjacent facilities, thereby organizing visitors' movement and facilitating their mobility during the visit.

The gate is distinguished by its architectural and engineering design inspired by traditional Islamic style, where golden ornaments and inscriptions reflect the beauty of Islamic art and the precision of its decorative details, in addition to its architectural identity, which gives the place a distinctive aesthetic character.

The gate is about six meters long and three meters wide, with a thickness exceeding 13 centimeters, making it a solid entrance that combines grandeur and strength in its construction.

Al-Salam Gate represents one of the architectural landmarks at the Prophet's Mosque. Its role is not limited to serving as an entrance for visitors, but also reflects part of the mosque's history and its spiritual status through the artistic and architectural meanings embodied in its details.
