Mina: The 11th of Dhu Al-Hijjah marks the first Day of Tashreeq and is known among Arabs as Al-Qarr Day (day of settlement), when pilgrims remain in Mina after completing Tawaf Al-Ifadah and most rituals of Day of Al-Nahr. The day is devoted to remembrance of Allah, stoning the Jamarat, and staying overnight in Mina in accordance with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
According to Saudi Press Agency, Mina witnesses heavy pilgrim movement on this day as worshippers head to the Jamarat facility to perform the ritual of stoning the three pillars in sequence-Al-Sughra, Al-Wusta, and Al-Aqaba-within an integrated operational ecosystem designed to ensure smooth crowd flow and the highest standards of safety and comfort.
Relevant authorities have mobilized extensive human, technical, and service capabilities during the Tashreeq days, including transportation, healthcare, guidance, cooling systems, water supply, and security measures. Pilgrims intensify prayers and supplications during these blessed days, continuing their rites in a spiritually serene atmosphere.
