Riyadh: Al Nassr Saudi Football Club secured its sixth consecutive win in the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26, defeating Iraq’s Al Zawraa 5-1 at Alawwal Park Stadium on Wednesday in the sixth and final round of Group D.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Kingsley Coman set the tone early for Al Nassr by opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Wesley Teixeira doubled the lead just seven minutes later, and Abdulilah Al Amri added a third goal in the 29th minute. Joao F©lix further extended the lead with a strike in the 44th minute, ensuring Al Nassr went into halftime with a strong advantage.
Al Zawraa managed to pull one back through Ibrahim Gbadamosi in the 50th minute. However, Al Nassr quickly restored their lead when Kingsley Coman completed his brace in the 56th minute, sealing the victory.
With this win, Al Nassr topped Group D, finishing with 18 points from six matches. Al Zawraa ended the group stage in second place with nine points, narrowly edging out Istiklol into third place on goal difference.
